Final Pixel - LED technology and virtual production for lighting course

Over the 12-13th of December I had a great time learning all about Virtual Production screens and lighting within them.

I'm really grateful for the opportunity of getting to have some hands on experience and gain some deeper understanding of LED screens and Virtual Production, we had talks from Brompton, iMag and Disguise.

Brompton showed us some awesome scenarios that LED screens can be used for in virtual production, my favourite was how a green screen and a background plate can be recorded simultaneously on one camera by utilisng frame rates of the camera and the refresh rates of the screens.
